About

Like most young guys growing up in Rural Nova Scotia my "rite of passage" was having my own "wheels".

Of course, being young (and poor) I had to buy older used vehicles (or "other people's problems") as my Dad so fondly put it.

Constantly fixing them and having permanently greasy fingernails became a way of life and I towed home about every second vehicle I bought. It was a runing joke in our house.

Throughout my younger years I learned basic mechanical and auto-body repair skills from several wonderfully skilled people, including my late Grandfather.

I still have his tools which I use (and thank him for each time I "borrow" one of his wrenches).

Years ago I did this out of neccessity. Today it's more for fun and the challenge.

This is my third Jeep, and true to my record, yes, I had to tow it home.

This project (and website) is dedicated to my Grandfather, Mr Brent Demont.

"Thanks for the wrenches, Gramps!"
